The Hello Agency was built on the belief that travel should feel personal, thoughtful, and deeply meaningful. From the very beginning, our focus has been on creating experiences that reflect who our clients are and how they want to feel when they explore the world. That belief is the philosophy Beth Simms built The Hello Agency around. Below, Beth shares the story behind our name, our growth, and what continues to inspire the work we do every day.
A Note From Beth
Hello Friends! I am Beth Simms, the spirited founder and owner of The Hello Agency. I have worked hard to create a successful boutique travel agency that specializes in crafting unforgettable adventures with a Southern touch! With over a decade of experience in the travel industry, my passion for exploration and deep appreciation for Southern hospitality shine through in everything I do.
Over the years, many have asked, "Why did you name your company, “The Hello Agency?” My answer is always the same: In the South, no matter how busy we all are - a simple “Hello” can change the course of a person’s day! I wanted to create a brand that people wanted to come back to and that was memorable.
I often joke that I run a multi-million-dollar company daily from my bed. The Hello Agency has been a consistent awarding winning company since its first year of operation. We have been able to grow, year after year. Now producing around 10 million dollars a year in collective sales, we are one of the top agencies within our travel network. I am proud to say that several of us are ranked in the top for our personal sales, amongst over 900+ agents. I firmly believe that our success comes from a variety of things. Those being: a team of great people, working with clients who trust us, offering great customer service and each having our own unique personality and skill sets. We each work hard but we love what we do, which is ultimately serving others.
I know online, our lives often look like a beautiful photo album of all of the incredible places we get to travel because of this career. It looks dreamy and oftentimes it is - but there is something to be said about working hard to make “it” all happen. Just like every other career, this is a job….a great one, yes!!... a rewarding one, yes!! But it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to make it all happen. We see the value in these experiences, so we can better serve our clients. Every agent on this team is dedicated to this career. It is not a hobby for us- but a true calling and passion.
I am grateful you have found our little corner of the world online and that you are interested in working with us. Each person on this team brings something different to the table. However, we all work together to make sure each of our client's needs are met - from the moment we say “Hello” to the follow up after you return home!

The Progression of Hello
2017 & 2018
The Beginning
After leaving a full time career in the travel industry to be more present at home The Hello Agency launched in 2017. What initially started as a team of 1 grew to a team of 3 by the end of 2018. In those early years, the focus was on building strong client relationships, earning trust through exceptional service, and laying a foundation rooted in Southern hospitality. Word-of-mouth referrals quickly followed, early recognition within the travel network began, and the path forward became clear.
2019
Intentional Growth
With steady demand and growing trust from clients, 2019 marked a year of intentional expansion. The agency continued refining its processes, partnerships, and service standards, while staying true to its boutique feel. The agency grew from a team of 1 to a team of 3 and then 5 by the end of 2019. This year the agency reached over 1 million dollars in sales, and Beth received an award for being a top producer within her travel network.
2020
Resilience and Patience
We welcomed Barbara Branch and Jennifer Smith to the team in February of 2020, little did we know what was to come the following month. What started as a record year, with over a million dollars in sales turned to a year that we could have never anticipated. Like the rest of the travel industry, 2020 brought unexpected challenges. The Hello Agency leaned into advocacy, communication, and support for its clients. This year reinforced the value of the relationships we had built with loyal clients. Beth jokes that she survived 2020 by painting, gardening and coming to the realization that she’ll never be a homeschool mom.
2021
A Strong Return
As travel resumed, The Hello Agency experienced a powerful resurgence. Pent-up demand, loyal clients, and proactive planning led to one of the agency’s strongest years yet, proving the business was built to last.
Our team grew from 5 to 6 agents, bringing Kristin Smith on board. This was also the year Hello re-branded its original logo.
2022-2023
Reconnection and Growth
In 2022, The Hello Agency reunited in person for its first team trip since COVID, gathering at Nemacolin for a meaningful time of connection, learning, and celebration. In 2023, the agency built on that momentum, continuing to grow intentionally, strengthen industry relationships, and elevate the client experience while earning ongoing recognition within its travel network. Karyn Carroll join the team in 2023 bring The Hello Agency to 6 advisors who remain with us today.
2024
Creativity and Expansion
The agency entered 2024 producing 9 million dollars annually in collective sales. Several advisors ranked among the top producers in a network of over 900 agents, reflecting both individual excellence and team strength.
We officially welcomed Kayla Jones as our full-time Creative Director. While Kayla had been with us from the very beginning handling photography, but in ‘24 it became official, bringing her on to lead the website, marketing, social media, photography, and all things creative.
2025 to Present
Growing the Hello Family
From 2025 to today, The Hello Agency has continued to grow with purpose. We welcomed two Client Specialists, Devon Adams and Sarah Johnston, expanding our team to a total of 9 dedicated professionals. Each new addition strengthens our ability to serve clients with personalized attention, ensuring every journey is seamless, thoughtful, and unforgettable. Since the beginning, The Hello Agency has continued to grow year after year in production, going from zero to ten million dollars in less than 10 years…and the fun has just begun.
